This Micro Lesson runs through a fast paced Country Western Guitar Lick in the Key of "G."
The lick is unique in its structure in how it applies the open 3rd string "G."
The first measure opens with segments of the "G Major Pentatonic" interacting off of the open third string "G." This continues into the second measure stopping on the 8th fret second string "G."
A quick pentatonic idea carries across measures three and four wrapping up once more upon the open 3rd string "G" at the end of the lick in measure four.
The technique to use (that is the best and easiest connection to many of the tones across the lick) will be, "Hybrid" style picking.
Take your time developing the run, and use a metronome to build the speed. Enjoy!
