Electric Country-Western Swing Blues

PART ONE: In part one we begin by learning how to develop the swing feel. We run down an example that  converts a straight-time country feel into a swing. 

In another example, we learn how a melody can be constructed using popular scales and intervals of the Country Swing Blues style. Emphasis is placed upon the use of the common Major Pentatonic. Additional tones of the minor 3rd and raised 5th are also discussed as ways to enhance the country-western swing blues sound.
