Natural Minor can introduce very linear sounding scale runs. And, this will be a way that differs from the Minor Pentatonic. Pentatonic scales offer us a sound which eliminates the half-steps from the 7-tone Natural Minor and when those half-steps are applied, we generate a sound that is quite unique, and one which covers chord changes in interesting ways.
In this lesson I've composed a 12-bar Nat. Minor solo. It should work well to introduce you how the Nat. Minor can be applied to create lead guitar soloing ideas. Enjoy!
