Micro Lesson 104: "D Major" Folk Fingerstyle Riff

Welcome to... "Micro-Lesson 104"

This Micro Lesson covers a Folk Finger-style Riff in the Key of "D Major."

This riff begins from a series of pick-up notes kicking in from the up-beat of the count of two.

Once the main phrase enters into the first measure we outline our root chord of, "D Major," with the, "D," and the "F#."

The harmony proceeds into the VI chord of, "Bm," then becomes unstable into measure two by way of the 1/2 diminished.

The next measure outlines the harmony of, "Bm7." The end of our riff pushes into the, "G Major," chord. Use traditional, "Classical Guitar," finger-picked technique. Enjoy!
