Northampton County, Pennsylvania USA:
Jane D. Kiefer, 51, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment.
Kiefer, of the 600 block of Washington Street, is in Northampton County Pennsylvania Prison under $40,000 bail, according to court records.
When they arrived, police said they found Jason Loch with a deep cut on his left forearm. The wound was consistent with a knife slashing and was only a few inches away from the bone.
Police said Loch also had a small stab wound to the chest. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, police said. Loch's condition was not available Tuesday.
Police said they located a woman identified as Kiefer at the intersection of New and Washington streets. While under arrest, police said Kiefer was yelling obscenities.
Loch told police he and Kiefer had gotten into a verbal argument and he told her she should leave for the day. Kiefer then threatened to smash his guitar that she had in her hands.
Loch said when he tried to grab the guitar, Kiefer grabbed a knife and stabbed him twice. Loch said he ran into a bedroom, closed the door and called police.
